The Oilers snapped their four-game losing streak on Saturday with a 4-1 win over the Kraken.
Zach Hyman scored a natural hat trick in the first half, and Seattle was out of the game. Check out the three goals above.
Dylan Holloway scored his first goal of the season to put the Oilers up 4-0 in the second period.
Jaden Schwartz was the lone scorer for the Kraken, who put just 18 shots on Stuart Skinner.
This win will come in handy for the Oilers who are having a rough start to the season. Edmonton has just three wins so far and McDavid has just 10 points in 11 games. This is just the 8th time since 2015 that Edmonton has won a game in which McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were shut out.
Perfect flyers in California
The Flyers concluded their three-game trip to California with their third straight win, this time 4-2 against the Kings.
Philadelphia took a 3-0 lead thanks to Owen Tippett and Morgan Frost scoring twice.
Cam Atkinson was the second scorer for the Flyers. The forward, who missed the entire 2022-2023 season, already has eight goals this year.
Goalie Cal Petersen was busy in front of the cage for the visitors, opposite his former team. He blocked 35 shots, giving up only Carl Grundstrom and Adrian Kempe.
The Kings haven’t had much success at home this season, going 1-3-3 at the Staple Center.
