David Reinbacher had a tough game on Saturday afternoon, just like the season of his club in Switzerland, HC Kloten, who lost 5-2 to Langnau Tigers.
The Montreal Canadiens committed several turnovers, including a particularly stupid one that allowed the opposing team to score an empty net late in the game.
He ended the game at -1 with 19 minutes and 29 seconds of play, and former Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu was the most wanted player on Kloten’s side, who spent almost 24 minutes on the rink.
In the seven games so far this season in the Swiss league, Reinbacher has scored only one goal (into an empty net) and no assists. The Austrian returned to action on November 3 after a three-week absence with an upper-body injury.
Kloten languish in penultimate place in the Swiss league standings (13th out of 14) with just seven wins in 23 games this season.
