The Rockets’ losing streak continues

The Laval Rocket lost their third game in a row, falling 4-3 in overtime against the Americans on Wednesday night in Rochester.

This is the third streak of at least three losses for the Montreal Canadiens farm club so far in the 2023-2024 period.

However, today’s game started well for head coach Jean-François Houle’s team. The Rocket scored the first two goals of the clash.

Alex-Olivier Voyer scored his first goal of the season playing the second game with the Laval team. Joel Armia then beat goalkeeper Dustin Tokarski without a player.

Justin Richards closed the gap near the end of the first period, while Brandon Biro tied the score in the second period.

Viktor Neuchev led the crowd’s favorites in the game for the first time in the last period. Rocket, however, did not say his last word and Nicolas Beaudin put everything back on an equal footing.

In the end, Jiri Kulich settled the debate in overtime.

Rocket and the Americans will meet at the same place on Friday night. Team Quebec will then travel to Syracuse for a Saturday matchup against the Crunch.
