In its segment check in the show JiCMonday, Renaud Lavoie mentioned that he would like to see the Quebecer use Martin St-Louis more often during future games, the one who has to share his playing time with Jake Allen and Cayden Primeau.

– Considering how he plays, we will have to see him a little more – our informant asserted.

“You play the Ducks on Wednesday, he’s the one who has to be there. Same thing against the Sharks where there are two points you absolutely have to get.”

In eight starts out of 18 total CH games this season, Montembeault held a goals against average of 2.78 and a .908 save percentage.
