The Ottawa Senators finished their trip to Stockholm, Sweden in style with a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday at Avicii Arena.
Forward Josh Norris gave the Ottawa team the win thanks to a wrist shot that caught Filip Gustavsson off guard. The first city was also the only player to move the strings during the shootout.

The win is the second in as many matches for DJ Smith’s men in the Swedish capital. So they return to Ottawa with an 8-7-0 record, good for sixth in the Atlantic Division.
However, it was not all over for the Senators, as they allowed the first goal of the match, at the beginning of the second period. Rookie Marco Rossi used a shot from the blue line by teammate Brock Faber to deflect the puck past goaltender Anton Forsberg.
Fullback Erik Brannstrom scored his first goal of the season at the perfect time. He tied the score after 3:22 in the third period after serving his goalkeeper Forsberg.
The latter also had a good game, recording 24 saves. His opponent, Gustavsson, for his part, blocked 31 shots.
The Wild will return to action at the same venue against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. In the case of the Sens, they will host the New York Islanders on Friday.
