The Boston University Terriers defeated the University of Maine Friday night 3-2.
Montreal Canadiens prospect Lane Hutson had an assist on Macklin Celebrini’s power play goal. The man many pundits consider the top prospect for the next NHL draft scored a game-tying goal early in the 1st.D period.
Hutson collected his 4the help mentioned season, he who already has 8 goals under his belt. The defenseman reached the NCAA 60-point plateau in just 49 games.
Ryan Greene and Tom Willander scored the Terriers’ other goals.
Quinn Hutson, Lane’s brother, also had an assist in the win.
Thomas Freel scored both goals for Maine. He remarkably opened the scoring after only 14 seconds of play in the first period.
