Not to worry, the Laval Rocket beat the Manitoba Moose convincingly, 6-2, Sunday at the Canadian Life Centre.
Defender Logan Mailloux stood out in the attack, scoring the first goal of the match with a shot from the blue line after only 47 seconds of the match. He also assisted Jared Davidson on the power play in the third period.

Joshua Roy, for his part, ended a four-game scoreless streak with a goal in the second period. The former Sherbrooke Phoenix also recorded an assist on Sean Farrell’s goal, in the power play, at the very end of the game. Roy now has six goals and eight assists for 14 points in 11 games.
Namely, the first engagement was crucial in this duel, since Jean-François Houle’s team flashed the red light three times. It was Nathan Légaré who scored the winning goal without playing.
