Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle had quite a scare Tuesday night against the Flames when he got hit in the face by an opposing skate.
The incident occurred when Flames forward Elias Lindhom fell to the ice. His skate then accidentally hit Guhle in the face.
Defender CH quickly retreated towards the dressing room, but fortunately, he managed to return to the game after a short time, recovering from a small cut on his mouth.
A sequence reminiscent of the death of former NHL player Adam Johnson on October 28, cut on the neck by the blade of an opponent’s skate in Great Britain.
