Alex Newhook slows CH’s slide

Alex Newhook broke a 3-3 tie with a quick shot past John Gibson with less than four minutes left in the third period to give the Canadiens a 4-3 victory on Wednesday in Anaheim.

The Montreal team thus breaks a streak of four losses. The last victory of Martin St-Louis’ team dates back to November 11 against the Bruins. It was also their first regular-time win since October 23rd. Then they beat the Buffalo Sabers 3-1.
