It’s been quite a busy past few days for Quebec pitcher Abraham Tor who signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Athletics on Friday.
The 26-year-old was traded from the Milwaukee Brewers to the A’s on Wednesday for pitcher Chad Patrick. Financial details of his new contract have not been disclosed.

The third baseman played just nine games in 2023 with the Brewers. Despite this, he scored nine runs and hit two home runs. He could have a chance to prove himself with the A’s, who had the worst regular season performance in all of major league baseball last season.
The Longueuil resident also wore a Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros uniform during his career that spanned five seasons in the majors.
