A female driver was fighting for her life early Tuesday evening after a head-on collision in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, in Montérégie.
According to the first available information, the vehicle veered from its lane and collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, around 5 pm, near the intersection between rue Roberval and chemin de la Rabastalière Ouest.
A woman in her seventies was seriously injured in the crash and was in critical condition in hospital early in the evening, Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) reported.
The driver of the other vehicle was also injured, but his life was not threatened.
